New Invoicing Breakdown and Examples

What you should expect when you receive your invoices starting in December

As we work on transitioning to the new platform, we will do everything possible to minimize any disruption of service for you. Grand Dial’s staff will be there to continue to provide you with the services that you expect from us. So don’t worry!

What you will notice, however, is that your new billing may be split into multiple bills. You should not see a change in overall pricing.

After that, we’ll give you an example. If you have any questions, please check out our FAQ page, or reach out to us by phone or email. We’ll be happy to answer them for you!

If we bill you for usage:

If we bill you for minutes, bandwidth, storage, domain controller usage, or IT Service Time, you will see an invoice from Grand Dial Communications in December and January. This invoice will be covering any costs involved with last month’s usage. The December invoice will be billing for November usage, and the January invoice will be billing for December usage.

If we bill you for VOIP Phone services:

You will see a bill from Heritage Telecom. Heritage Telecom works with Relevant Networks to provide VOIP phone services and features. As a result, they bill for services separately.

If we bill you for any other managed services:You will see a bill from Relevant Networks. They will be handling the services that we provide, and they will be working with us to provide those services for you.

An Example of Billing for December and January

Let’s pretend, for a moment, that Bob Smith is one of our customers.  He has a phone plan with us that we charge for inbound minutes plus a fax service. We also manage his network, and we license some phone equipment for his 15 extensions.

For this example, Bob also purchased a new laptop from us and an extended warranty for that laptop.

This is the Invoice Bob Receives From Us

When Bob gets his billing for December and January, he will see 3 Invoices:
  • An invoice from Grand Dial for the minutes he used.
  • An invoice from Relevant Networks for the new PC and warranty.
  • An invoice from Heritage Telecom for the other phone related items on his invoice.
An example of the invoice Bob normally gets from Grand Dial.

Here is what Bob will receive in December and January:

Split across three different invoices, the amount Bob is paying for his services does not change. You should be able to look at your most recent invoice from Grand Dial and compare the pricing and services from that invoices to these three combined.
